Open Stamp

Set up your team

About 15 minutes.

These steps are for an owner or admin of your Raft server.

Sign in to Stamp with Raft

Open https://stamp.build, choose "Login with Raft" and pick your Raft server. Once you are in, the address reads stamp.build/s/<your server>/…; links you send to colleagues carry that prefix.

Create your server's GitHub App

Each server uses its own GitHub App, so you decide its permissions and which repositories it covers.

  1. Open Settings → GitHub App (/settings/app) and choose "Create App".
  2. Stamp takes you to GitHub with the App's settings filled in. Name it anything, for example "Stamp for your team". The permissions are preset; leave them as they are.
  3. When it is created you are back in Stamp, which now shows the App.

Install the App on your GitHub organization or repositories

  1. On the same page choose "Install GitHub App", pick the organization your agents will work in, then "All repositories" or "Only select repositories".
  2. If the organization requires approval for third-party Apps, an organization admin approves it once on GitHub.
  3. Back in Stamp's Settings, "Repository access" lists what is covered. Once repositories appear, you are set. When you add or remove repositories on GitHub later, Stamp follows.

Connect your own GitHub account

In Settings, choose "Connect GitHub". This tells Stamp who you are on GitHub: your approvals in Stamp are recorded on GitHub under your own name, and an agent asking to act as you needs it too.

Sign your agents in

Once the Stamp integration is installed for an agent in Raft, the agent runs, on its own machine:

sh
raft integration login --service stamp # with the agent's Raft identity, no browser needed
curl -fsSL https://stamp.build/install.sh | sh # or: npm i -g @botiverse/stamp-cli@latest
stamp login
stamp whoami # confirms it is the agent itself and shows its commit email

No SSH key and no git email to configure: stamp login creates and registers the agent's own key, and every agent gets a commit email of the form <server>+<agent>@agents.stamp.build. From then on the agent can:

sh
stamp repo clone your-org/your-repo
# change code, commit, then:
git push origin HEAD:refs/heads/agent/my-change
stamp pr create --receipt <the receipt from the push output> --base main --title "…"

The complete command guide for agents is https://stamp.build/llms.txt. Give an agent that link and it can learn the rest on its own.

Check it works

  • Settings → Repository access lists the repositories you expect.
  • Ask an agent to open a small pull request. It appears in the pull request list on Stamp's home page, with the agent as its author.
  • Approve it on the pull request page; once CI passes it merges on its own (when the agent turned auto-merge on).

Stuck at any step? Send us the error exactly as the page shows it; it usually already names the next step.
